Bettina is highly regarded internationally for helping beginner to advanced riders achieve connection and lightness in their riding and partnership, with clear and supportive communication of Academic Art of Riding methods and principles.She teaches logical and easy to follow training with correct biomechanics. She is sensitive to how the horse is feeling, building connection, helping people position their own bodies and energy to bring out the best in the horses, and to correct and beneficial execution of dressage exercises and movements.
Clinic will include lessons in classical dressage, lunging and in-hand work for both experienced classical dressage riders and those starting their journey learning this incredible art.
Below are some of the problems Bettina has helped student to solve:
• My horse is heavy in the hand / too fast/ too slow / too stiff
• I want to ride with my seat but don’t really understand what that means
• I don’t know how to do lateral movements correctly or struggle to teach them to my horse
• My lateral work needs refinement
• I want to know how to get my horse off the forehand
• I would like my horse to feel softer and/or more engaged or enthusiastic
• How do I get my horse to engage or bend the haunches correctly?
Participant spots include 3 private lessons over 2 days, plus theory and watching other students. $660 per spot.
Spectators (limited places available) $80 per day.
Overnight and day yards available.
