
About this Event
This event provides an opportunity for current, aspiring, and former school leaders to engage with stories and research about wellbeing, as well as to engage with each other through a catered networking opportunity.
The event will be in four key phases:
1. A short presentation on recent findings of research with former Headteachers, focused on issues of wellbeing, motivations, and lessons they learnt during their careers.
2. A Q&A Panel with current and aspiring school leaders, reflecting on the research as well as the implications for leaders and leadership.
3. A roundtable workshop where attendees can share their own stories of wellbeing, as well as sharing strategies and practices that support them in their work.
4. A catered networking opportunity to meet new colleagues, ccatch up with old friends, and build connections with other local school leaders.
This event is being held as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Sciences, designed to show how social science research can connect with lives. #ESRCFestival #McrESRCFest
The event will be held in the Samuel Alexander Building on the University of Manchester Campus, Oxford Road. Specific room details will be provided to registered attendees via email prior to the event.
