Better Than Bacon Improv is a short form improv comedy troupe based in West Chester, PA. BTB does short skits and games based on audience suggestions. Bacon Gives Back is a fundraiser event -- ticket sales and donations directly benefit AHHAH.
BTB was born when a few crazy folks met at a local improv comedy class and became friends. Those same folks kept taking improv comedy classes until there were no more local classes to take. In 2010, after finding a director and a few more performers, Better Than Bacon was born. We had our first professional gig in 2011 and celebrate our anniversary each June!
Our current troupe of 13 members hail from all over the SE Philly suburbs: Malvern, Exton, West Chester, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, Media, Swarthmore, and Wilmington, DE. Our artistic backgrounds include improv, acting, stand-up comedy, and music.
ARTS HOLDING HANDS AND HEARTS (AHHAH): Our Mission: Building equity and justice by empowering youth, strengthening families, and mobilizing communities through arts, literacy, and mindfulness.
Through mindfulness tools, artistic initiatives, and professional development training for staff, our programs increase resiliency and create positive pathways towards productive and fulfilling futures for youth. We work through multiple intentional strategies (CALM) to offset the stressful effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

An online processing fee of $5.00 per ticket will appear on your order at check out. This is NOT your BYOB fee. This online processing fee is waived when you purchase tickets over the phone or in-person. Email [email protected] to schedule a phone call or a time to buy tickets in-person.
BYOB fees are $5 per person who is drinking. Even if you are sharing a 6-pack. Paid at the door only, cash or charge. Please see the FAQs on our website for more details.
