Taking place over four days the famous Doncaster Betfred St Leger Festival features the final Classic of the revered British Flat racing season – the Group 1 St Leger Stakes. Saturday’s Betfred St Leger Day is one of the must-attend UK horse racing fixtures of the year.

Prestigious live horse Racing
The highlight of the four-day festival the Group 1 Betfred St Leger Stakes attracts some of the leading trainers and horses from across the country.
Boasting a glittering roll of honor comprising some of the most acclaimed horses in history this race is the final leg of the esteemed British ‘Triple Crown’ comprising of three British Classic races – the Newmarket 2000 Guineas the Epsom Derby and finally the Betfred St Leger Stakes. Winning all three Group 1 races is considered the greatest achievement in Thoroughbred horse racing and was last achieved by Nijinsky in 1970.
The St Leger Stakes is open to three-year-old colts and fillies and is run over a mile and six furlongs. With recent previous winners including Kew Gardens Logician and Simple Verse it offers the perfect opportunity to see some of the very best three-year-old horses in action.

St Leger Day 2024 Tickets
The Betfred St Leger Festival 2024 is the highlight of Doncaster’s event calendar and is always incredibly popular. We have many different general admission and hospitality packages to choose from so book your St Leger tickets today!
Children 17 and under go free to the races when accompanied by an adult (some exclusions apply for Festival fixtures and Live After Racing events). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
