Welcome to the Best Trópezienne Contest 2024!
Join us for the first edition of the Best "Tropézienne" Contest 2024, celebrating French culinary art in Miami Beach. Organized by the French American Association of Crafts and Trades (FAACT FL Chapter), this event will take place on September 19, 2024, at "Le Basilic Miami".
During this culinary event, you will be enjoying the products of all the candidates present. A drink is also included!
Artisans from Miami will compete for the title of the Best "Tropézienne" pastry. Supported by the Saint-Tropez Tourist Office, the event highlights traditional French pastries and fosters cultural exchanges.
Originating in Saint-Tropez, in France, the "Tropézienne" is a beloved dessert known for its creamy brioche, created by Polish baker Alexandre Micka in the 1950s. This iconic pastry gained fame with help from actress Brigitte Bardot.
Enjoy a sensory feast at "Le Basilic Miami", where three professional judges will select Florida's best "Tropézienne." Attendees can taste delicious samples and meet the winner. This unique event is a must-attend for all French pastry enthusiasts and supporters of local artisans.
