Celebrate local filmmaking and the participants of the Hampton Roads 48 Hour Film Project 2025!31 filmmakers made a short film in a mere 48 hours the weekend of August 1 - 3, 2025. The Best Of & Awards Ceremony features the Top Ten films and is immediately followed by the Awards Ceremony. Award categories include Best Actor/Actress, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Audience Favorites and Best Film.
Films screening in the Best Of are not announced in advance in Hampton Roads. It fosters gamesmanship and toxic competition. Rather, in Hampton Roads, we lean into mutual admiration and the spirit of celebration. Attend the screening. Celebrate local filmmaking. Network to collaborate on future projects. Find your tribe.
To clarify, ALL qualifying films are eligible for awards and nominations. Due to time limitations, some films receiving nominations and awards may not have made it into the Best Of. Stay for the Awards Ceremony and find out what our industry judges thought deserving of recognition.
Come out to the most fun film networking event of the year! Dress up, dress out, be fun! Doors open at 5:30pm. Event begins at 6:00pm. Tickets are $15.
The 2025 Wrap Party immediately follows at The Public House two blocks down from The Naro.
