This event is part of the State of Oklahoma's Bessie Coleman Centennial Week, a celebration dedicated to the extraordinary contributions of aviation pioneer Bessie Coleman. This is your rare opportunity to meet Gigi Coleman-Brooms, Bessie Coleman’s great-niece, who will share heartfelt and inspiring stories about her iconic ancestor—a proud alumna of Langston University, Bessie Coleman was a trailblazer who became the first African-American woman and the first Native American to earn a pilot's license.
