Step into the world of magical crafting with our Besom Decorating workshop. This is much more than just a workshop, it is an evening to meet new like-minded people, learn new techniques and so much more.
In this hands-on class, participants will learn the art and symbolism behind besom creation—a tradition rooted in centuries of folk magic and ritual. Guided by experienced practitioners, you will have the opportunity to personalise a robust, full-size besom using an array of mystical materials, including ribbons, feathers, charms, and more. Each decoration is chosen not only for its aesthetic appeal, but for its spiritual significance, allowing you to imbue your broom with intentions for protection, cleansing, or celebration.
Whether you wish to create a ceremonial broom for handfastings, honour a deity, or craft a beautiful piece of witchy home decor, this class provides the tools and inspiration to bring your vision to life. You will also be taught techniques for weaving intentions into your besom, such as binding with colour magic, painting sigils, and adding charm bags or bottles. All skill levels are welcome, and every participant will leave with a unique, purposeful creation—ready to sweep away negativity or invite blessings into their space.

A £30 deposit to secure a place, followed by two further payments of £30 before the event date, or the whole payment in one payment.
The Deposit is non-refundable; however, it can be transferred to another workshop or used to make purchases in the shop.
