About this Event
We’re throwing the party of the summer to celebrate our new exhibitions Enrique Bostelmann: Apertures and Borderscapes and Françoise Gilot: Shaping Freedom through Abstraction.
Stop by the Berman Lawn between 6 and 8 p.m. on Friday, July 19 for dancing, good food, and art activities. The museum will be open late for visitors to enjoy the exhibitions.
We are pleased to welcome the Guachinangos from Philadelphia for live music throughout the evening. Food and drink will be available for purchase from Lumbrada Express. Enter detail Mezcal.
Paolo Mentasti, a Philadelphia-based artist, will be leading a sundial making workshop. Participants can make a sundial for their current location or any other area of interest. Guests are encouraged to bring photographs of people or places to collage onto the sundial. Appropriate for grown-ups and kids over 10 years old. All supplies provided.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. If you’d like to support more free community programs at the art museum, consider gifting a small donation.
