Together with numerous exciting organisations from Berlin and the world, Berlin Science Week presents a rich programme that offers insights into current research and innovation in science, evokes discussions on the grand challenges of our time, and encourages inspiring encounters in diverse and engaging formats.Research and its impact cannot stay hidden in the ivory tower – as the pandemic has clearly shown. However, science related formats don’t necessarily have to take place in a boring or aloof manner. From exhibitions to guided tours, impulse lectures or fish bowl formats, there are many possibilities to convey knowledge in a vibrant and entertaining way.
Therefore, we invite everyone from science, politics, business, media, the arts, and the broader public to deepen their knowledge and become engaged in the discourse on the present and future of our world.
Most of the events will take place across Berlin – at venues like Futurium, Urania, Radialsystem, or Zeiss-Großplanetarium. On 4 and 5 November, we will once again turn the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin into our festival centre – the Campus – and present many interesting events, exhibitions, and interventions around the theme ‘Paradigm Shift. Co-Creating a Sustainable Now’! Moreover, there will be a lot to experience online.
