Berlin is best known for their international #1 hit, “Take My Breath Away,” featured in the 1986 film Top Gun starring Tom Cruise. “Take My Breath Away” won Berlin an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for “Best Original Song.”Few bands emerging from the era of Berlin have achieved as far-reaching and long-lasting an impact. Headed by singer Terri Nunn, bassist John Crawford, and keyboard player David Diamond, the band has produced their fair share of top hits, including "Sex (I’m A…)” from the platinum-selling debut EP Pleasure Victim in 1982, “The Metro,” and “No More Words.” Their decades-long career includes nine studio albums and three live albums.
