RMF has been busy planning this year’s Berks Shines – our showcase celebrating extraordinary student musicians in Berks County. This event features students of all ages and music genres who are connected to RMF’s scholarship and outreach programs. This year, we have another lineup of fantastic musicians: An Tran, an astonishing pianist from Wilson High School, Altair Martinez-Park, a young flutist who left our adjudicators speechless, Mardoche Jules, a vocalist from Reading High School with his own signature style, and the Muhlenberg MS Jazz Combo, who will have you questioning how middle school musicians can sound so polished and professional!
Proceeds support RMF’s efforts to provide access to music education through scholarships and instruments, and further RMF’s advocacy work to make music education a priority in our schools.
