November 6, 2025 : Berkeley Springs, WV : BWW :The world’s most prestigious celebration of water returns this February as the 36th Annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting (BSIWT) invites entries from around the globe. From February 19–21, 2026, this sparkling celebration of purity and taste will once again crown the world’s best waters — and you’re invited to be part of it.
Dubbed the “Academy Awards of Water”, the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting is the largest and longest-running event of its kind. Produced by Travel Berkeley Springs, it attracts municipal and bottled water producers from every continent, all vying for international recognition and a coveted medal.

A Judging System That Reflects Excellence
Since 2022, the BSIWT has adopted a refined scoring system modeled after leading wine rating organizations such as Wine Spectator and The Wine Enthusiast. First-place winners in each category receive a perfect 100-point score, while all other entries are ranked accordingly — offering valuable benchmarking and recognition.

Entries for the People’s Choice Package Design Award must be registered by January 20 and delivered by January 23, with online voting open from February 7 through February 21 at 8 PM — an excellent way to engage your social media followers.
All other water entries must be registered by February 9 and arrive in Berkeley Springs by February 12. With shipping delays common, early registration is strongly encouraged.
