Learn how to make simple and charming art and then how to turn those works on paper into a unique and fun 3D sculptural piece on wooden cube blocks!
Join us as we explore:
- the Raw Art, Folk Art, and Outsider Art movements
- the work of Scott Bergey
- natural textures using acrylic mediums and non-conventional materials
- doodles! and using ink
- sanding down layers
- how to incorporate writing and text into your work
- using everyday life and objects as subject matter
- keeping things simple
- working with a limited and natural color palette
Everyone will walk away with 3 fun and quirky art blocks! There will be additional wooden blocks available for purchase during the workshop. Blocks are 3" cubes.
