Bensley Agrihood Service Day (Community Day)

Purpose: Monthly “Service Day” featuring a Bensley Agrihood Site Clean-up w/ Land Stewardship Education.

What to expect @ Bensley Agrihood site Service Day
- BAPP Welcome and Introductions
- Agroforestry Education
- Land Stewardship Activity (Continue Clearing & Solarization)
What to wear: Comfortable clothes that can get dirty
· Long pants or jeans.
· Long shirt.
· Jacket, Hat and Gloves.
· Boots or Closed toes shoes that will keep you dry.
· Protective Eyewear (Goggles)

Who we are :
The Bensley Agrihood is an initiative of, , and to build a sustainable community centered around access to healthy food and supporting young women of color in the Richmond region. A working organic farm and fruit orchard will be the centerpiece of new homeownership opportunities — providing residents and community members in the Bensley neighborhood of Chesterfield County, Virginia with access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
