Recently from California, you may have heard Benji at the Golden Festival in one of the several East Coast bands he plays with: Sarma, Novi Hitovi, Zlatne Uste. He has taught Balkan trumpet and brass band at the EEFC Mendocino and Iroquois Springs Balkan Camp. Benji and his band will be bringing a mixture of traditional Balkan folk dance tunes along with modern Romani repertoire from Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, and beyond.
