An intimate, unplugged evening of music and storytelling, featuring local songwriter Benjamin James Howard and special guests in celebration of Vestiges, Howard's first solo album. Part anthology, part B-Side compilation, Vestiges is comprised of previously-unreleased songs, spanning the length of Howard's career—written years ago, but re-recorded together today with the clarity of time and the simplicity of an acoustic guitar.
Howard was a front-man of Cincinnati-based rock groups Bottom Line and Pluto Revolts, the former notoriously reaching major-label status in the mid-2000s before stifling label mergers indefinitely shelved their masters. Vestiges reclaims selections of Howard’s contribution to that fateful Maverick/Warner record and spotlights other unexplored corners of his catalog.
Opening the show in the first hour are Howard's close friends Marcus Barber, Sean Waits, Zachariah Sage, and Gavin Mitchell.
