About this Event
Please join us for a special evening.
The Benjamin E. Cooper Awards recognize outstanding contributions by members of our community to the cause of ending homelessness. At the time of his tragic death at the age of 17, in 1997, Georgetown Day School student Ben Cooper was a committed and enthusiastic volunteer at Friendship Place. His encouragement of those coming through the doors for help inspired both staff and other volunteers. We are honored to give this annual award in Ben's memory.
