Join Benicians Adopting Benicia and the Benicia Community Foundation, Inc. for a much-needed clean-up of the historic Benicia City Cemetery! The clean-up will consist of light to moderate landscaping, including raking, removing small branches and tree bark, and W**d removal. Refreshments will be provided, and all participants will need to sign a liability and photo release form. The event will start with registration at 8:00 AM, followed by work from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM, including a supplied lunch. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, and long pants, and bring gardening gloves, a rake, shovel, pitchfork, wheelbarrow, and an old tarp or two. No power tools are allowed. The event will take place at the Benicia City Cemetery, located at 150 Riverhill Dr, Benicia. Please park down on Riverhill and a shuttle will take you up to the cemetery. Check-in will be at a table set up in the parking lot at the top of the cemetery. Thank you for caring about our wonderful City Cemetery and wanting to help!
