We team up with Erie Bird Observatory for another night of Benevolent Beers!This group is a small nonprofit dedicated to avian conservation through research and outreach. Seasonal staff monitors bird migration, monitor federally endangered shorebirds, and provide outreach to the Erie community. Their goal is not to just bring awareness to the perils birds face, but how we can come together as a community to help them. Another goal is to bring the birding experience to people of all ages, no matter their skill-level. Birding is for everyone!
The Piping Plover will be highlighted at this event, a federally-endangered shorebird EBO proudly monitors through partnerships with other organizations. Any funds raised would primarily help support this monitoring program that is active throughout the summer. For example, funds raised would help support an intern program and printing costs for educational materials.
Every sale rung in between 5:00 and 8:00pm will provide a donation to this group.
