This is a figure of eight, 12 miler which starts from Benenden, and is another of the "walk in time" routes in the area. There is the option for those who wish, to do the shorter option of only the first loop, as we return to Benenden after approximately 9 miles.Our route starting from the church, overlooking the village green and the cricket pitch, meanders through the countryside, as we make progress across to Cranbrook. Shortly after passing the very large church, we join the High Weald Landscape Trail, passing through farmland and then the posh Benenden School, returning to the village where our picnic lunch stop will be taken.
After our break there is a small loop to the south of the village, towards Iden Green, before heading into woodland and back to Benenden.
