About this Event
Welcome to Halau Hula O Ke'ala Hiki Ku'o Kalani!
TRANSLAITION: The Sure Way To Heaven Hula Academy
Come join us for a magical evening filled with traditional Hawaiian hula dances, music, and food in an effort to gather toys and raise money to deliver those toys to Native children for the Holidays in Oklahoma. Our event will take place at The Harvest House, 3 S Fretz Avenue Edmond, OK 73003, where you can experience the beauty and grace of this ancient art form.
In Hawaiian culture, it is the heart of our people to share our culture in a way that creates an atmosphere of deep, spiritual love, which we call Aloha. There are third world countries in America, and they exist on many of the reservations where Native children often don't get to experience gifts during the holidays. Our goal is to use our culture to change that for as many native children as possible. All guests who bring a toy will only be charged $45 dollars, and those who do not will be charged $75. All money will go into paying for any needs for the event (equipment, decorations, etc.), as well as into paying for delivery of the toys to the children.
Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Hawaii as our talented performers showcase their skills and share the stories behind each dance. Whether you're a seasoned hula enthusiast or just curious to learn more, this event is perfect for anyone looking to experience the spirit of Aloha in a way in which you get to BECOME the Aloha for the most vulnerable in our society. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to witness the beauty of Halau Hula O Ke'ala Hiki Ku'o Kalani. Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and Hawaiian hospitality!
