About this Event
Boston-based songwriter Sam Bergquist brings his folk-Americana songs to an intimate house concert at Woodard Lane Co-Housing. Sam’s singing and songwriting blend country-blues grit with warm storytelling, carried by acoustic guitar and harmonica. His recent releases—including the acclaimed album Racing Down the Valley (2025) and the single Envy Blues—highlight both his lyrical wit and heartfelt connection to everyday life.
This special evening offers a chance to hear his songs up close in the welcoming co-housing common room—where neighbors and friends gather together for acoustic music in support of GRuB, an Olympia-based nonprofit working at the intersection of food, education, and health. Each year, GRuB engages 1,500 people—especially youth, BIPOC communities, Veterans, and others most impacted by food disparities—in learning, growing, and thriving through land, community, and good food.
