If you don't know, Jaimes Miller was a pillar of the Pensacola scene for ages... as a bartender at The Handlebar, Sluggos, The Azalea and more... and as a member of so many popular local bands... from Clownskin to Pen To Plough, from Distant Silence to He Just Kicks Good (and that one Halloween Motley Crue thing where Boyd and Chris co-MC'd as dueling Robert Goulets... ha!).
More recently, Jaimes spent almost a decade with the world famous Roxy Theater on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, even acting as manager for years. Think of any punk, glam, buttrock, metal or rock band imaginable from the 80s to today... chances are, they played the Roxy.
Jaimes is currently battling AL Amyloidosis. Between piling medical bills for treatments (including chemo) and a severely diminished ability to work at the present as a result of his symptoms, he and his family are in unfortunate financial straits.
This show is a benefit to help ease some of the stresses through the rockings and rollings of many of his local Pensacola friends (and even former co-workers and bandmates).
