Join us for a benefit event for Elaine Harries.Elaine was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy. While insurance will cover some of the costs, Elaine is responsible for 20 percent of the costs.

The goal of the benefit event is
1) to give Elaine's and Vaughan's friends an opportunity to get together and show support and
2) to spread the word about the situation and ways to contribute.
Both Elaine and Vaughan are visual artists. We are working to have their artwork on display at the event and possibly available to be purchased.
Musical entertainment provided by Sarah Callahan, Sophie Caplin, Laura Lentz Landstad, Sarah Zuber, and Ken Takata. The music will be from 6:30 to 8:30 in two sets with an intermission. The material is settings from Shakespeare, Blake, and Baudelaire as well as a few jazz standards. If Elaine feels well, she may sing a couple of tunes also.

Location: this is in the banquet room of the Black Forest Inn at 1 East 26th Street at Nicollet in Minneapolis. There is plenty of free parking in the lot just south of the building. Enter on Nicollet.
