On July 28th, Andrew and his family received news no one is ever ready for: after weeks of confusing and conflicting diagnoses, his medical team confirmed he has ACUTE Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a rare and aggressive cancer.
Treatment began immediately. For the next five months, Andrew will undergo intensive chemotherapy-five days in the hospital each month-followed by three weeks of radiation. After that, he faces three years of medication to ensure the cancer does not return, especially in the brain.
