Benefit Concert for Educate Young Girls

An event for music-lovers and grassroots organizers: Attend a benefit concert featuring essential musicians of the Northampton area. Hosted by Smithie-led nonprofit organization Educate Young Girls, the benefit concert profits will go directly towards building a residential building for teenage mothers who have been expelled from their homes. With a safe place to raise their children, these girls will be able to pursue their studies and vocational education giving them both confidence and independence. There will be raffle tickets available for certificates and coupons from local businesses and restaurants, and additional donations are encouraged and appreciated. Performers include Evelyn Harris, Kimaya Diggs, Hazel Basil, The Lonesome Brothers, and Pamela Means, alongside The Smith College Vibes and other individual Smithie performances.
