Bench Anarchy is a one of a kind bench press extravaganza hosted in the Stones Hotel near the famous Stonehenge monument in the atmospheric South West of England. It consists of an open meet earlier in the day and an invitational money prize meet starting at 4PM, gathering world's best bench pressers under the same roof!
To partake in the PRO meet one must meet a qualifying criteria, the AM competition is available for all A/BPU members.

OPEN Competition: START TIME 11.00AM
-30 places for RAW, 20 places for Equipped in Bomb Squad style (slingshots included). All members welcome, no qualifying criteria.
-This AM competition is a qualifier for A/BPU British Championships 2026 and A/WPC European Championships 2026, places available only for registered A/BPU members.
- Entry fee: 50 £ for one category, 30£ for extra categories. Entry fee includes free entry for the lifter and ONE additional handler ticket to the Bench Anarchy PM competition.
PRO Competition: START TIME 16.00PM
-4 categories: Women RAW, Men RAW, Women Equipped, Men Equipped.
-30 RAW entries and 20 Equipped entries will be taken based on the invitations, and each lifter secures their place when they pay the entry fee. Each category is closed when the places are filled
-Prizes: TOP 3 in each category get cash prizes! Each category will have a sponsor provided money prize, and ALL the entry fees of each category go directly to the prize pot of that category.
Money prizes go to the best lifters on Glossbrenner coefficient (no age adjustment), and separate prizes for biggest individual lifts!
-Entry fee: £100 per category, including TWO tickets to the meet.
-PRO Meet qualifying criteria:
RAW:
Women- 110kg bench or a 90 Glossbrenner points bench.
Men- 200kg bench or a 110 Glossbrenner points bench.
EQUIPPED (Single/Multi/Unlimited)
Women- 182.5kg bench or a 145 Glossbrenner points bench.
Men- 300kg bench or a 165 Glossbrenner Points bench.
NO AGE COEFFICIENT ON QUALIFICATION GLOSSBRENNER.
