About this Event

THE TALENT

His Musical career started at a young age, playing in local bands ranging from soul to funk, jazz, blues, country & rock. After high school, he attended Berklee School of Music (class of 2009), studying to hone his craft & songwriting abilities in contemporary music. He has played & learned from some of the greats in many different styles. He toured with Ian Moore, as his bass player & background vocalist. He has worked with & learned from artist such as Leela James, John JR Robinson, Victor Wooten, Deantoni Parks, Pino Palladino, John Lefler, Alan Evans (Soulive), Neal Evans (Soulive, Jack White), Jon Reilly (Dispatch), Cal Campbell, John Doe (X), Spain Colored Orange, Danny Morris, & Clayton Dyess. His current projects are Ruckus, Cole Tove & Cosmic Outlaws. He continues to release solo material under his name too. He has taught musicians of all skill levels at Houston’s Famous, Rockin’ Robin Guitar Store. He enjoys teaching guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, vox, music theory, & now offers private lessons in his studio, and live zoom sessions. To add to his diverse resume, he was a tennis instructor at Harvard University, and also makes one helluva open flame grilled pizza with some of the best tomato sauce one could ever taste.


THE BAR

Opened in November 2020, Cowboy Surfer is a casual bar in Memorial City, Houston keeping its namesake culture alive through drinks, eats, live music and art.
