Join us for "Death of Kings," a play written and performed by Army Veteran Ben Grimes. Grimes served as an Airborne Ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division in Baghdad, Iraq, in 2006, and also in Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq in 2017. "Death of Kings" combines Grimes's personal experience and story with the text of William Shakespeare to explore themes of war and service. The performances will be held in Gallery III of the Baum Gallery.
Grimes will have two 55 minute performances:
7 pm - 7:55 pm
8:30 pm - 9:25 pm
He will also conduct of Post-Performance talkback after the shows from 9:30 - 10 pm.
Each performance will have 35 seats available. Tickets will be for free and available at the lobby box office in the Windgate Center for the Performing Arts no later than February 1st.
