On March 6, 2026, two hot bands hit the Roberts Creek Legion stage.Ben Arsenault will be honky-tonkin with classic country sounds. Joe Rotundo will be rocking vintage surf sounds. Joe is a veteran of the Vancouver roots music scene and Ben has been leading the new generation with his friends in the North Country Collective. Both artists are now based on the Sunshine Coast and looking to make new friends and fans of good, timeless music.

Ben Arsenault writes honest country songs, with a classic sound inspired by his Acadian heritage, delivered with a laidback twang thanks to his west coast upbringing. He gained international attention in 2024 with his sophomore album, “Make Way For This Heartache”, described by Holler as “one of this year’s most comforting country records.”
On the strength of that album, he landed gigs at legendary honky-tonks in Nashville and Austin in 2025. As Americana UK opined, “if you like your country truly authentic, then there’s lots to enjoy here.”
