Share your story at this free workshop.In the Communal Pen workshop, we will write to celebrate and explore our connections to place and community. This four-hour writing workshop draws inspiration from the Smithsonian exhibit Spark! Places of Innovation as a springboard for igniting our own stories, giving voice to our shared and individual experience of place. Share your stories of innovation in arts, culture, and technology in your community.
No previous experience is required to participate in this workshop. All stories are welcome. Writing supplies provided, but you are welcome to bring your favorite writing tools. This workshop is free, but registration is required. Lunch will be provided, and we value accessibility for all ages and abilities in our workshops.
