About this Event
Join Horizon Pagans as we celebrate Beltane, the Gaelic May Day festival, heralding the imminent arrival of summer. Beltane is the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. This time of year is associated with the lighting of bonfires, and the movement of animals to summer pastures. Beltane is a joyous celebration, filled with (family-friendly) revelry and mischief. Come dance around the Maypole, if the weather cooperates.
Please bring a dish to share for the potluck dinner after the ritual. Please also bring a camp chair and/or blanket if you might like to sit outside around a fire after clean-up. Optional: dress in clothes and colors that bring you joy!
All ages are welcome at our family-friendly events, including children under adult supervision. Childcare is also provided.
Ritual begins at 7:00 PM in the Labyrinth or the Fellowship Hall, depending on the weather.
All Are Welcome!
