The cross-quarter festival of Beltane, half-way between spring equinox and summer solstice is the time of the year to celebrate life, light, fertility, growth, and abundance, a time to bring new ideas and dreams into action. As we welcome in the energies of Summer we reflect on what we want to bring into our lives and how we wish to pursue the things that make us happy.
As we sip Cacao together in ritual, we connect to the Goddess IxCacao and offer her our intentions, come into our hearts and ask for guidance, before journeying through the medicine wheel with the beat of the shamanic drum, meeting nature spirits and the elements along the way. With Mama Cacao in our hearts, we bridge the gap between us and the natural and unseen worlds, tap into our inner wisdom, gain insight into our true selves, and our re-awaken our connection to creative spirit.
As we align with Mother Earth in her fertile phase, we activate our inner Maiden and cultivate space within us for creativity, playfulness, and joy, and when we ignite our wishes for the coming months with the Beltane fire energies, we can prepare ourselves for a joyful and abundant summer.
We'll also be making a Beltane Wish Bundle with special items from nature, we will send our wishes into he bundle and offer our gratitude to Mother Earth, for a joyful and prosperous summer.
My intention is to provide a safe and nurturing space, where you are welcome just as you are, where we rediscover our authentic selves, our connection to Mother Earth, and echo the sacred rituals of our ancestors.
In the hustle of modern life, it's easy to lose touch with ourselves and what truly matters. This is your opportunity to step away from your daily roles for a while and enter into a space of connection and love.
We’ll also be in the last quarter and waning crescent moon phases which will further assist us in surrendering to the natural flow of life, composting our release, preparing us for new life, growth, and rejuvenation.
