Burn Road Action Group and Milton Rovers are thrilled to announce their Belstane Duck Race, a delightful community event which is the 1st of its kind at Belstane Burn. It costs £5 to adopt a duck and there are 100 ducks available to be adopted. At the end of the race the ducks will be collected back in for future events.
There will be prizes for the 1st 5 ducks that cross the winning line and get home safely.
This event brings 2 local community groups together to benefit another community Group which is the Carluke. A fantastic example of partnership working for the greater good.
The set up of the ducks will take place at 10.45am with an official start time being 11am.
This fun filled day promises excitement for all ages as participants cheer on their adopted rubber duck down Belstane Burn.
Bring your family, friends and neighbours along to join in the festivities and help make a positive impact in the locall community.
