Conversation about the Treaty (Te Tiriti) is happening all around us. This free event is a great opportunity to dive into our shared story together so we can know our own place and how we belong - wherever our ancestors came from. What a great way to begin the New Year! 'Belonging In This Land: Treaty basics from a Christian perspective' is an opportunity for people in faith communities to explore the story of the Treaty of Waitangi over two 90-minute video sessions in a workshop that will run from 9am - 1pm on Saturday 31 January. If you know a little - come and expand your knowledge; if you know nothing - welcome! We'd love to have you on board.
Let’s be curious together.
Brought to us by Common Grace Aotearoa in partnership with Kāruwhā Trust and Te Manu Hononga - the Sir Paul Reeves Centre.
In the videos we will hear from expert presenters, including Dean of Taranaki Cathedral, Jay Ruka, and former Anglican Archbishop, David Moxon.
