Representative Clinton Anderson (D-Beloit) and Senator Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit) announced listening sessions in Evansville and Beloit to discuss Governor Evers’ 2025-2027 State Budget and additional important issues facing Wisconsinites. “Governor Evers’ budget is focused on lowering costs for Wisconsin families by investing in affordable healthcare, childcare, and education while providing tax relief for working people. It’s a plan that puts people first by making everyday essentials more affordable, strengthening local communities, and ensuring families have the support they need to thrive. These investments will help ease financial burdens, create economic opportunities, and build a stronger future for everyone in our state. I look forward to hearing from constituents about how this budget impacts them, what they support, and what they want to see as we move forward,” said Rep. Anderson.
“The 2025 budget presents new opportunities to invest in our state's priorities. Governor Evers proposed a budget that will help our kids stay safe and get a quality education, keep taxes low for middle class families, and make meaningful steps to cut costs for all Wisconsinites. I hope that residents will attend these listening sessions to hear about the budget process and share their thoughts about the Governor’s budget proposal,” said Sen Spreitzer.
