Come learn how to combine two of the most fun and joyful forms of movement, Belly Dance & Hula Hooping, into one dance! This 2 Hour Workshop will begin with a warm-up, belly dance drills and across the floor work. We will then learn (or improve!) dancers ability to waist hoop. Dancers will learn different on-body and off-body hula hoop tricks. Finally, we will learn a short BellyDance & Hula Hoop Fusion choreography. Dancers will also get a video of the choreography to take home!This Workshop is great for all levels of dancers! It is helpful if dancers have an understanding of basic beginner level belly dance moves (e.g. hip drops, shimmies, mayas, undulations), as these will not be broken down into detail. No hula hoop experience is required. Hula Hoop tricks will be broken down into detail.
