Bellydance Workshop: Solo Skills
In this 2-hour workshop, dancers will learn to connect with the music, develop improvisation skills, and create combinations to use for solo improvisation or solo choreography.
All levels are welcome, but it will be a little easier for students who have at least taken a few basics classes. It is still ok to take this workshop if you have no experience!
This workshop is fine for casual students, but is especially helpful for serious students who plan to perform.
Styles: Mixed, but heavier on the Cabaret.

Wear yoga socks, ballet slippers or similar. Bare feet are ok. Wear comfortable work out clothing with a pantline which sets low on the hips, allowing the belly to move and breathe. Bring a bottle of water.
Instructor Amethyst began bellydancing in 1997, and is Certified by Ansuya Rathor, original member of Bellydance Superstars, and had studied under various other master instructors.
