Bellydance Fundamentals is an all-level class focused on building a strong foundation in bellydance technique through mindful, embodied movement. Class begins with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body, awaken the core, and bring awareness into the hips, spine, and breath. We then explore essential bellydance movements and isolations—such as hip articulations, shimmies, undulations, and posture—practiced with music to develop coordination, strength, and fluidity.Class concludes with a calming cool down to release tension, restore balance, and integrate the work. This class emphasizes safe, sustainable movement for long-term practice while offering a joyful, expressive space for exploration, confidence-building, and connection to the body.
