Marina is a Turkish belly dancer based in Sacramento. She has been dancing for 7 years including with the Veils of Magic and her mentor Majita. She performs professionally at various events thru out the North state regularly.
This class will consist of the foundational aspects of belly dance including posture, stretching for belly dance, basic chest and hip movements, arm positions, beginner shimmies, beginner belly rolls, and more. In addition there will be a short choreography. At the end we will practice our improvisation skills and you can show off your new belly dance moves!!
This workshop is a sliding scale from $20- $35. Pay what u can…
