Join us for an enchanting evening of belly dance with Jenna - a dancer whose journey with this art form began in 2014 and has remained a soul-deep passion ever since.
Belly dance offers not only a playful and empowering way to move your body, it has massive benefits for your core strength, posture, balance and body awareness - giving you a deeper connection with the way you move!
All ages, genders, body types, and backgrounds are welcome.
This class is a celebration of self-expression, body confidence, and joy.
You don’t need any dance experience - just a willingness to show up, move, and have fun. We honour the truth that the most captivating dancers are not the ones who “look” a certain way, but those who feel and express from the heart ❤️
What to Expect:
We'll begin with a gentle warm-up using yoga and dance stretches, followed by learning and practicing iconic belly dance movements such as:
Shimmies
Hip Circles & Figure 8s
Chest Isolations
Snake Arms
Body Waves & Undulations
We'll end by weaving everything into a short and fun choreography, allowing you a chance to feel the flow of the dance from start to finish and giving you an opportunity to add your own flair to your style!
Come ready to move, connect, and shine - this is more than a dance class, it’s a homecoming to your body, your joy, and your feminine essence.
All you need is comfortable clothes, water and a belly dance scarf/belt if you have one, but it's absolutely not necessary.
