Experience flowing sequences of movement and dance connect elements -earth,water, fire, and air--- and awaken the energy channels of the body. Explore graceful belly dance movements from serpentine ululations to fiery hip locks and shimmies.

By taking this journey, students will have the opportunity to:
· Learn or sharpen their belly dance movements.
· Bring more fluidity into their body.
· Strengthen the muscles of the pelvis.
· Interact with participants in a fun and supportive environment

Johara draws upon her 30 years of experience as an American Cabaret and Middle Eastern belly dance instructor and as a certified Hatha and Vinyasa yoga instructor along with her studies in multiple dance.
What to bring:
o Your beautiful self and no experience is necessary.
o Yoga mat (Optional)
o Leggings or loose style yoga pants
o Tank top, crop top sports bra or T-shirt.
o Bring a sweater or sweatshirt.
o Festive scarfs for the hips.
o Students can go, barefoot or bring soft soled shoes
*Sparkly scarves and veils provided by the instructor.
