Learn to improvise with ease and deepen your knowledge of raqs sharqi in these classes with Rosa. Each class focuses on a different rhythm or style, including a combo and targeted improvisation exercises. These classes are intended for folks who are familiar with the foundations of belly dance. The content is designed for a small space, so you can comfortably dance from home OR in the studio. Music, voice, and lighting is carefully designed to be sure both online and in-person students have a great experience.
All registered students will receive the class recordings, so you can make your own schedule!
Comfortable yoga/exercise clothes are perfect, along with bare feet, dance socks, ballet shoes, or other footwear appropriate for your flooring. (Rosa loves Apolla Shocks for carpet OR wood/lino/tile—save $5 with this referral link!). Please wear non-jingly hip scarves for in-person classes.
