Tuesday Nights at the Eagles CCJoin us for seven weeks of Belly Dance at Eagles Community Center in Mesa
March 11th to April 22nd

7.30 pm - Troupe/Professional
The first class is aimed dancers with more than 20 weeks of belly dance under their belt. In this class you forcus more on your individual development as a dancer. This semester we will be looking at the song "Yearning" by Raul Ferando and using it to structure an improvisation, or write a choreography.
The later class is by invitation only, and is for professional dancers to support each other while working on our performance skills.
Each class has a $12/$14 sign up fee, payable through the Mesa Parks and Recs website. There is a further fee of $70 per session, payable to your instructor before the start of the first class. Early booking is recommended, as the size of the first class has been reduced for this semester.
Bellydance is a great way to make friends, get fit, have fun and feel fabulous. Its a mix of modern and traditional dance from the MENAHT regions (Middle East, North Africa, Hellenic, Turkish and beyond), adapted for local audiences.
Your teacher, Sara Shrapnell, is a belly dance teacher, performer, writer and mentor. As the "teacher's teacher", she trains others, world wide, to teach bellydance.
The Eagles venue is a large room, with clean floors and lots of space to dance. The venue is staffed at all times, with restrooms, but no changing area, so come ready to dance. The car park has plenty of room and some areas are lit.
