Throw a Yard Sale - Break a World Record.
Get ready, Belleville! On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the city will host The Belleville Yardsale, a one-of-a-kind community event aiming to break the world record for the "World’s Biggest Yard Sale"—all while raising funds for United Way Hastings & Prince Edward (HPE).
- Who is this for? - Everyone! Yard-sellers, Yard-salers, local artists, local businesses, etc. We want to transform the entire city into one giant event so that the world takes notice.
- How do I get involved? - Easy! Register at bellevilleyardsale.ca and please make a donation to United Way Hasting & Prince Edward. 100% of the proceeds go to local charities.
- Can I keep the money I make? - Excellent question! Yes! It's your yard sale. You can keep the money, donate it, or use it invest in the yard sale stock exchange. Your choice.
- But if everyone is throwing a yard sale then who will attend the yard sale? - EVERYONE ELSE! We're inviting all of Belleville's neighbours across Ontario. This is going to be HUGE.
- Why should I get involved?" - Because it's for a good cause. Because it brings the community together. Because there'll be prizes, awards, contests, merchandise, free stuff! And probably treats because someone is bound to throw a bake sale into the mix.
