Friends are pleased to present our Spring Sensory Friendly concert at East Liberty Presbyterian Church's Social Hall on Saturday, May 4th at 2:00 P.M.
Our Sensory Friendly Concerts are FREE, open to the public performances geared toward creating accessible and welcoming spaces for everyone to enjoy the arts.
What sets these concerts apart?
Musically, the program is shorter in length, with lower sound and lower lighting. You can talk, make noise, move around and leave your seat during the performance. A quiet room is available. We have sensory support items available including gadgets, earplugs, and manipulatives. You’re also welcome to bring your own support items! Attendees have the opportunity to tour the facility before the performance, chat with our trained volunteers and request extra assistance with our help desk.
I have a group that is interested in attending. Who should I contact?
If you already have transportation, simply attend! We’d love to have you.
If your group needs assistance with transportation, we may be able to help! Please reach out to us and we’ll put you in touch with our President and Accessibility Coordinator, Graig G. Cannon.
