About this Event
Bella smiles for Developmental Disabilities is a registered nonprofit organization with a
501(c) 3 status which was started by two mothers experiencing very challenging journeys
through their daughters who were diagnosed with Autism, Edward and Rett syndrome. With
a mission to Pave a way to empower individuals and families living with developmental
disabilities to be more inclusive in their community transformed life.
We are thrilled to say Yeah! We have made it and we can’t believe it’s already three years;
Indeed, we have continued to take baby steps in ensuring that we reach the underrepresented
populations like our own; Children with developmental disabilities. Here in Washington
state, we have been able to bridge a gap for families who need resources within systems. We
have been able to refer and assist families apply for services like; Early Intervention, where
to go for diagnosing their child(dren), special education assistance, get services like speech
therapy, occupational therapy, ABA and also get state services through Developmental
Disabilities Administration. We are happy to say we have assisted over two hundred
families.
This year we are requesting your hand to sponsor us during this fundraiser so that we can
continue with our programs that have continued to put a smile on our children these are:
• Empowerment Program
• Awareness Program
• Assistance Technology
• Evidence Based
• Internship/Volunteer
The event will take place on July 29th, 2023, at Rumba Notes Lounge, 5041 Rainer Ave S,
Seattle, WA 98118, from 5 p.m. through 11 p.m.
