*Special Event* I wish to make you aware of a special event taking place from 2.30 pm at St. Mary's church, Stockport (SK1 2NN) on Saturday 18th October. The bells at the church will be hosting a 10 bell striking competition with bellringing teams from all over Cheshire. The bells of St. Mary's are only periodically rung so this will be a good opportunity to come and listen to their glorious sound in full voice! Also, lots of bellringers will be around so, if you have ever wanted to learn to ring church bells, come along and ask/discuss how to get involved.
