In this 2 1/2 hour class you will bake along with 4th generation Belgian/American, Gina Guth. Her ancestry includes the surnames; Lardinois, Rouer, De Villers, Lu Maye, and Vandertie to name a few. Join the thousands of people who have learned the art of Belgian Pie making that was brought to this country by Belgian/American Immigrants in the mid 1800's. She will guide you through the pie making process. All ingredients are provided for you to make 2 Belgian pies of your choice.
Flavors include apple, raisin, cherry, or prune that are topped with a sweet cheesecake type flavor made from blended cottage cheese. Also, a rice pudding custard filling that is topped with whipped cream when cooled.
